Because that America would be too awesome and no one would feel depressed or insecure for any reason (aside from people who get paranoid when they smoke), basically there system would fall apart.
Rudedog - March 30, 2013, 8:22 pm
The only good thing about Libertarians is that there is no hidden agenda, it is all written in the constitution.
Cannabal - March 30, 2013, 4:44 pm
The only good thing about Libertarians is that they want everyone to have guns and weed. Why can't we live in THAT America?
Renza - March 30, 2013, 4:30 pm
...aside from 'political bs' I fail to see why anyone would want to keep it illegal. taxing and selling it could allow for a boost in the economy, fewer arrests and subsequent trials, more (legal) jobs, plus medical benefits and further research of them.
Renza - March 30, 2013, 4:29 pm
but look at all the cases of people getting high on marajuana and going on murderous rampages, and causing bar fights, and high speed fatal accidents...
Doggit - March 30, 2013, 10:26 am
Sure would end the war on drugs

GUNS AND WEED - Maybe if government wasn't allowed to go after either of these, they wouldn't be going after both of them now.

The sad thing is that we all have access to the internet and could figure that out in a second, but that would be as pointless as sitting around trying to remember so either way.
Curlyrocks - July 11, 2013, 11:25 pm
I forgot all about Daria, I'm too busy trying to remember the names of their teachers and I think it was Principle Mcvikker?
Cannabal - July 11, 2013, 11:17 pm

Cannabal - July 11, 2013, 4:05 pm
When you become sober, it would interest you to know that fat kid is from Mike Judge's "King of the Hill."

So if you smoke marijuana you're more likely to believe in conspiracy theories? I was unaware of that connection.

nah, man, I think they are being made in Mexico now. Maybe twinkies stuffed with Acapulco gold.
Cannabal - November 5, 2014, 8:26 pm
Both parties have worked hand-in-hand to promote the War on Drugs to get votes, and it's still not over yet, especially with a big Republican majority in Congress.
Cannabal - November 5, 2014, 8:24 pm
A real twinkie? Thanks, man. I thought these were extinct, man.
Curlyrocks - November 5, 2014, 1:39 am
There isn't enough pot in the world to make me forget that more people have been put in prison for marijuana under Obama than Bush.

The Presidency has administrative authority, which gives it the right to determine "in good faith" the execution of federal or national law in the United States, as well the authority to DISMANTLE the DEA as a section of the DOJ.
Cyberhagen - April 24, 2016, 6:14 pm
I agree with you there. Laws are always restrictive by nature, by default (no law) everything is allowed. The more laws that are passed, the less freedom you generally have, unless a secondary law repeals part of a preceding law.
Cyberhagen - April 24, 2016, 6:12 pm
Even IF the DEA moves it from Schedule 1 to Schedule 2, (and it's still a big "if", I think they're still too uptight to go through with it) that's still extremely restrictive. What's the POTUS got to do with that?
Cannabal - April 24, 2016, 1:13 pm
And Sanders, unlike Obama, is the most likely to deprioritize enforcement of the CSA law because it is unconstitutional, much like the 18th Amendment that preceded it during the 1920's. But Congress really should start repealing laws for a change.
Cannabal - April 24, 2016, 1:10 pm
And yet strangely, it's the DEA that will decide the rescheduling of Cannabis (marijuana) this summer as opposed to the FDA, and only because of the patented medical properties of Cannabis make Schedule I designation thoroughly ILLEGAL.
Cyberhagen - April 24, 2016, 12:51 pm
Neither he nor any other candidate can do that without approval of congress. So "he" personally won't end it, he wouldn't have the power even if he won the election. He can only advocate for it and do what's within his legal power.

The only way to know for sure is to examine the pipe of George Washington himself, and keep in mind, the medicinal properties of Cannabis have been documented for centuries, even in Europe. The Founding Fathers were known to party if you know what I mean.
Cyberhagen - April 24, 2016, 12:59 pm
They grew "hemp" for rope and other industrial uses. That particular strain has very little THC, but mostly CBD; it was bred for strong fibers. There's no evidence to support them wanting to use it recreationally or medicinally.
